The Tulip Barn is open in Spring during tulip-season. This year, we are open from April 1 – May 15. During this period you can visit us 7 days per week. Opening hours are 10:00 – 19:00 daily.
A Tulip Barn ticket gives access to our tulip garden and our tulip production field. After visiting, it is possible to have something to eat or drink in our greenhouse or sunny terrace. Food and drinks are not included. Kids can use our playing facilities.
Most people stay around our tulip garden for 45 minutes. After, it is possible to have food and drinks at our place and kids can plays outside.
Unfortunately, picking flowers is not allowed. You can buy beautiful tulips at our flower stand to take home with you.
Yes, that’s definitely possible! Our Barn is located along popular bicycle and walking routes, make sure to stop by at our place for coffee, fries or farm fresh flowers.
You can easily book a ticket online via our ticket system, for your preferred day and timeslot. It is also possible to buy a ticket at our place, provided tickets are not sold out yet.
We ask you to arrive on time at your planned timeslot. In this way our place will not become overcrowded and everyone can enjoy their visit to the fullest.
You can take your tickets with you printed or on your smartphone. Our staff will check your ticket at the entrance.
It is possible to reschedule your visit, up to 24 hours before your booked timeslot. Please send us an email at info@thetulipbarn.com to change it.
Dogs our welcome at our place! However, we ask you to keep your dog on a leash at all time.
No, due to safety measures flying drones is not permitted.
We have a parking spot for cars. However, we encourage people to visit us by bike or public transport.
We’ve created plenty of space for bicycle parking at our place. While visiting us by bike, make sure to make a tour around the region! You will see lots of flowers fields on your way.
It’s easiest to take the train to Hillegom station, from there, it’s about a 15 minute walk to The Tulip Barn.
